Fun fact about me – I hated asparagus when I was a kid.  Fast forward to today, I love this time of year because asparagus is in season. One of the first things we planted in the Fall of 2021 were asparagus crowns. They take about 3 years to produce a good harvest. This is the year, folks! I’ve had my first taste of this year’s crop and it is heavenly. For the next 3 weeks, we’ll have asparagus for sale in the farmstand! Kyle has been in his happy place, getting the garden planted.
